SVAN CNC electric bending machines (electric servo press brakes) deliver high-speed, high-precision forming for thin-to-medium gauge sheet metal. Servo motors drive the ram directly — no hydraulic oil, no thermal drift, and electricity is consumed only while the ram moves. The result is consistent bend angles from the first part of the shift to the last.
How It Works
Heavy-duty servo motors drive the ram through belt-and-pulley or roller-screw transmission. Because there is no hydraulic oil, the machine avoids the viscosity and temperature drift that shifts bend angles over time. CNC control calculates ram depth, backgauge position, and crowning compensation automatically, so multi-bend parts repeat within tight tolerances.

Key Features
- High-speed approach and return: ideal for laser-cut brackets and high-volume small parts
- Energy efficient: servo motor consumes power only during ram movement
- Zero oil leakage and near-zero maintenance on the drive train
- CNC crowning compensates bed deflection for consistent angles across the full bed length
- Angle-measurement feedback options for automatic springback compensation
Common Applications
- Laser-cut sheet metal brackets, enclosures, and panels
- Precision parts for electronics, white goods, and HVAC
- Multi-bend components requiring tight angular tolerances
